Renew East Ltd becomes the newest MCS Accredited installer in the Suffolk.
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme is an independent scheme that certifies microgeneration products and installers in accordance with a set of quality standards. It is designed to provide a level of protection to consumers and is viewed as a benchmark for quality assurance.
An MCS certificate is issued once an installation has been registered with MCS. This certificate must be provided as part of the homeowners application for any government funding relating to their install of renewable technology.
The guarantee of quality and the trust demonstrated to MCS customers illustrates the importance of becoming MCS certified and becoming a member of microgeneration certification scheme.
This accreditation will allow customers in Suffolk to apply for the new £5,000 Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) grant which is an upfront grant towards the cost of replacing your existing fossil fuelled heating system (for example Oil) with an Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP.)
